High Availability Storage Solutions (HASS)

These versatile HP9000 storage enclosures are available as rack mounted or stand alone versions, allowing use with almost all HP9000 models.

· Hot-pluggable drives, power supplies and cooling fans make support easy.
· Supports combinations of up to eight tape and disk drives in one enclosure.
· Supports disk drives from 4GB to 36GB in size.
· Dual SCSI-2 buses allow mirroring within the same enclosure.
· Supports single ended or SCSI-2 interfaces.

Model 20 and Model 30 High Availability Disk Arrays

Offering the addition of RAID protection and additional capacity, these HP9000 disk arrays are a step up from the simple HASS:

· Hot pluggable components for ease of maintenance.
· Supports 20 (model 20) or 30 (model 30) drives.
· Supports 4.2GB, 8.8GB or 17.8GB drives.
· Fiber channel interface standard on the Model 30 provides transfer rates of up to 100MB/s. 

SC10 Disk System

An updated version of the HASS, the HP9000 SC10 gives a lot more flexibility and performance for the cost.

· Designed for 10x 10K RPM Ultra2 SCSI drives.
· Supports 9GB or 18GB drives.
· Compact design lets you get 2TB of storage in a 2m rack.

FC10 Disk System

All the scalability of the HP9000 SC10, but with the addition of fibre speed.
Hot pluggable drives, power supplies and cooling fans make support easy.

· Designed for 10x 10K RPM Fibre drives.
· Supports 9GB or 18GB drives.
· Fiber provides transfer rates of 100MB/s (compared to 20-80MB/s for various SCSI formats).
· Long distance option allows your fibre nodes to be separated by 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).

SureStore™ E Disk Array 12H (formerly AutoRAID)

The HP9000 Model 12H is the worry-free choice for dependable RAID protected storage.

· Hot-pluggable components for ease of maintenance.
· Redundant controllers for maximum reliability.
· Supports up to 12 disk modules.
· Uses 18GB and 36GB disk modules.
· HP’s AutoRAID automatically chooses the most efficient protection for your data – using mirroring (RAID 1/0) for your most frequently accessed data, while using the more efficient RAID 5 for infrequently accessed data.

FC60 Storage System

For the fastest and most flexible storage solutions, the HP9000 FC60 works in conjunction with the SC10 (above).
