The Cisco 2600 series router has proven itself as the ideal branch office router for todays needs with the flexibility and expandability to serve your needs in the future.

The original 2600 series routers offer a combination of ports and interfaces to adapt to any enviroment.  With the use of Cisco's WAN interface cards (shared with the 1600 and 3600 series) you can add additional ports and interfaces as needed to grow your business.

Models with the "XM" suffix are the latest models and boast performace increase of up to 33% over their original 2600 series couterparts as well as additional memory capacity.  So while you might see 2611 and 2611XM models, remember although very similar, the "XM" version will boast higher performance.

2612 (noXM) - has one token ring port and one ethernet port for mixing LAN's

2613 (no XM) - One token ring port

2621/2621XM - has two 10/100 Mbps ethernet ports with VLAN support

2650XM - high performance 10/100 modular router with Cisco IOS IP

2651XM - high performance dual 10/100 modular router with Cisco IOS IP
